The OFF TRIENNALE is looking for outstanding work from emerging and established artists working in the medium of photography reflecting upon the theme of the 7th Triennial of Photography Hamburg: BREAKING POINT. SEARCHING FOR CHANGE. Artist collectives are encouraged to submit projects as well.
The participating artists will present their work in solo-shows at selected Off-locations throughout the city, will be featured in press communications and included in the catalogue publication as part of the 7th Triennial of Photography Hamburg. Each selected project will be supported by the OFF TRIENNALE with up to €1000. The open call is juried by a panel of acclaimed and influential professionals in the field of art and photography.
The OFF TRIENNALE is looking for creative minds and innovative artists working with the medium of photography to contribute their work to the 7th Triennial of Photography Hamburg, reflecting upon its leitmotiv BREAKING POINT. SEARCHING FOR CHANGE.
The open call will be judged in two stages. The initial Jury will meet in Hamburg to review all submissions and preselect a shortlist of entries. As next step, in addition to representatives of the Triennial of Photography Hamburg, an extended Jury will choose the finalists from the juried shortlist.

The international call for submissions will be open July 3 – September 28, 2017. All entries for the OFF TRIENNALE should be submitted directly through picter.com by following the link on our website. The finalists will be notified and announced during Paris Photo, November 9 – 12, 2017.
